The Content Experiment Podcast

Oct 19, 2020

There’s a lot of talk online about marketing for online businesses, and I hear from product-based businesses that they feel forgotten about. I don’t blame them! And even as an online, service-based business, I’ve seen it.

But so many product businesses have seen a huge hit to their income during the season of this pandemic. Brick and mortar shops closed up and even if they opened back up quickly, many people haven’t felt safe to go back in person. Farmer’s markets and other events also closed for much of the summer, which is a busy season for many.

Since I don’t often work with physical product businesses, I invited my friend Sue Monhait of Gift Biz Unwrapped to join me on the podcast. She shares:

  • Why not everyone is born to have a product business
  • How to shift your mindset so you can move past this difficult time
  • The most important thing product businesses can do right now to keep their businesses afloat
  • How Facebook is helping the product business (yes, really)
  • Why your business model matters

Tune in now, whether you’re a seasoned gifter, baker, crafter, or maker or you’re just getting started.
