You’ve heard all about algorithms by now. It’s Facebook’s attempt at making sure our news feeds are curated to exactly what we want to see. Personal profiles are prioritized, and we all know that it’s against Facebook’s terms of service to promote our businesses on our personal profiles--though I know a lot of people still do.
The fact is, people aren’t seeing our business posts. Look at the reach on your last few Facebook or Instagram posts. What does it look like? Are 50 people seeing your posts? 100? Chances are, it’s a fraction of the number of likes you have on your page unless it’s an anomaly post.
That’s totally normal. From your regular Facebook posts to your Instagram feed to your Instagram stories, not as many people are seeing your content.
